Working parents are eligible to funded childcare for children aged 9 months to 4 years old.

The availability of funded childcare and the number of hours on offer depends on your circumstances and your child's age.

Parents are able to pay for childcare at my setting using the tax-free childcare accounts.

Consumables & Experiences

Every child deserves to feel happy, safe, and inspired. To make nursery life easier for families, we provide all the essentials and extra-special experiences so you don’t need to worry about bringing supplies each day. 

​

There is £ 4.00 consumables charge per funded day - £2.50 food and snacks, £ 0.50 consumables and £ 1.00 enrichment experiences.

What exactly is included?

Here is a sneak peek of just some of the essentials provided:

Everyday Essentials (Non-Food Consumables)

• Nappies, wipes, nappy cream, nappy bags, toothpaste and toothbrushes

• Bibs, facecloths & bedding (washed in-house)

• Sun cream & hats, spare clothes, puddle suits and wellies

• Laundry & cleaning supplies

• Arts & crafts materials (glitter, playdough, stickers, paints, clay)

Nutritious Meals & Snacks (Food Consumables)

• Breakfast – a choice of cereals, toast, eggs, frankfurters, jam, honey, fruit & vegetables

• Morning snack – fruit, veggie sticks, crackers

• Lunch – home-cooked hot meals or picnic on outings

• Afternoon snack – varied from morning snack or sausage rolls, pizza, baked together cupcakes or pastries

• Drinks available all day (milk, water)

Special Events & Celebrations

• Birthday cupcakes & gifts

• Graduation keepsakes & photos

• Christmas party & gift from Santa

• Themed seasonal days (Halloween, Easter, Diwali, etc.)

• Local trips & outings (parks, farms, museums,The Dockyard, annual Spinnaker tower visit)

Why is there a Consumables Fee?

These charges cover extras beyond the Early Years statutory requirements. They ensure that all children can join in with meals, resources, and unique experiences, while keeping nursery days fun, engaging, and worry-free for families.

⚠️ Please note: For children accessing funded hours (15 or 30 hours), these charges are optional, however they allow me to keep my business sustainable and maintain high standards of children’s experiences and learning.
